Description: GNU Readline binding for Ruby
This package provides readline-ext, the native Readline module for Ruby,
built against GNU Readline. It defines a number of methods to facilitate
completion and to access the input history from the Ruby interpreter.
 .
Since Ruby 3.3 this extension is no longer shipped with Ruby, and
"require 'readline'" falls back to Reline, a pure Ruby reimplementation.
With this package installed, "require 'readline'" loads this extension
instead, which provides features that Reline lacks, such as
 Readline.quoting_detection_proc.
